Rednersville Road is where you’ll find the County’s most affluent residents…rumour has it this is a popular spot for the many Canadian and Hollywood celebrities who buy homes in the County too (though naturally their locations are top secret).

In the Rednersville Road area, you’ll find the County’s most expensive real estate, some nice B&B’s and a cool general store too.

Rossmore is the northern entrance to the County, just over the bridge from Belleville. Located on the edge of the Bay of Quinte, Rossmore is an understated community that serves as a hub for boat traffic and recreational water activities.

There are a number of convenient services nearby in the strip mall on Highway 62: a post office, gas station, convenience store, excellent butcher shop (Gilmour’s Meat Shop & Deli), a seasonal farm stand, LCBO and a 24-hour emergency veterinarian.

The area’s most famous tourist spot is Campbell’s Orchards, with a wide variety of just-picked produce and baked goods available for sale, pick-your-own apples, berries and veggies and great seasonal events including a corn maze, hay rides, a harvest festival, strawberry festival, Maple in the County activities, and an Easter egg hunt.

Real Estate in Rossmore and Rednersville

Rossmore

Rossmore offers home buyers some interesting waterfront homes in subdivisions that have city water – you won’t find that anywhere else in the County. Houses range from $250K to $1 million, with most selling in the $500,000-600,000 range.

Subdivisions in Rossmore are a mix of affordable and luxury homes, aged anywhere from 20 years old to brand new. The newest subdivision is less than a year old, with prices starting at $750,000.

Rossmore’s residents are a mix of people who work in Belleville and transplants from outside of the County who are seeking waterfront luxury.

Rednersville Road
Rednersville is where the County’s most affluent residents live and play. Rednersville Road runs across the northern part of the County. You’ll find beautiful custom waterfront homes here starting at $700K and extending past $3 million.

If you’re looking to get into the area more affordably, consider just south of Rednersville Road (where you’ll find farms, some with water views) or in the centre, where you’ll find smaller homes priced from the $300’s. Prices decrease the closer you get to Highway 33.

Of note:

There are four executive subdivisions off of Rednersville Road. Less than 5 years old, these custom-built homes start at $600,000, with some being waterfront lots.

Onderdonk Hill (Old Orchard hill is the actual street) is an offshoot of Rednersville Road, where you’ll find waterfront cottages and homes with spectacular water views (from the $700’s).
